I've had so many horrible jobs, which is why I've had so many jobs in general. But the worst one ever comes down to a tie between waitressing at Riscky's Steak House for one week, and working in a discount retail shop for one day. I left for the same reasons -- screeching managers and a kaleodoscope of abuse and illegal practices. So yeah.

My critique was this morning. It went okay, so I'm not that worried about it. I'll find out when the grades are posted. Then an art history mid-term tomorrow and it's spring break. My plans?

-Read. I've dog-earred some Borges and Lovecraft to read over my break, and picked up a book of Kafka while out after class today.
-Work on The Diving Bell.
-Sketch through some ideas, now that I've got some time away from class.
-Sleep. Lots and lots of sleep.
