Cash decided to text me last night. Apparently he forgot I'm not talking to him anymore. Oh well. Today was my shopping day. Sunday is the one day a week that I have off from both work and school, so it's the day I like to spend roaming about by myself windowshopping at the mall. I bought a new shoulder bag on sale (because the purse I just bought broke a strap and I lost the receipt, :|) and a yellow beaded necklace, because it matches the earrings I bought on sale a few weeks ago and goes well with my favorite owl pendant necklace.

Then I came home and made a ton of Watchmen icons. Good times.

I'm going to totally steal skypipe's bullet formatting style. Hope she doesn't mind.

One. It seems no matter where I go in life, I will continue to work for idiots. Awesome.

Two. Before work I did absolutely nothing today. I felt nice. I managed to dress to go for a walk, then spent the afternoon watching The Devil's Rejects and drawing cephalopods. I'm better at drawing squids than people. It's kind of sad.

Three. I have Halloween off. I'm already fist-pumping over this. I'm going to go see Zack and Miri Make A Porno, dress up to pass out candy, then maybe go to Lola's for the Whiskey Folk Ramblers show with Blaine.

Four. I've pretty much ransacked my userpics. I could say that I felt like I needed a change in my LJ life, but to be honest, I basically changed a handful of my sarcastic, poorly made icons for another. Oh well.

On this note, I realized I've made a ton of Sendhil/Mohinder icons for myself in the past few weeks, and have only gotten around to using a couple of them. So here's a dump for anybody interested.

Ever since the end of Heroes season one, tracker_lucifer and I have felt a distressing lack of love for the powerful, practically canon combo that is Linderman/Nathan. And having seen the season three premiere at Comic Con, we've decided to take it upon ourselves to bring the spooky, zucchini-and-Malcolm-MacDowell-flavored sexy back.

She has written fic, which I'm currently beta-reading, and I come bearing icons. May they be fruitful and multiply. I'd put up a spoiler warning, but the pics are from s1, and, well, Linderman pops up in the new teaser trailers so, oh well. You done been spoiled, go call NBC.

Because this has made me laugh for two days straight, I bring you some really stupid and offensive icons about Warren G. Harding.



That burning feeling is probably shame, I think. Or hell fire. Whatever.

Also, I saw my current history professor talking to my history professor from last semester before class this morning. It was strange. I kinda kept expecting it to be like Optimus Prime versus Megatron or something -- just over history and stuff. Shrug. I don't know. But the distinct lack of explosions was kinda disappointing, I have to say.

I was feeling pretty productive today, studying for my license test and all that good stuff. Then I was going to go work on my original fic project, and somehow got sidetracked by making Monnet icons. Oh darn. Guess I'll just have to post them.
